What we collect, and why we keep it.
We collect what an order and its compliance record require, and not much else. This notice sets out exactly what that means, including the records we are obliged to retain.

1. Who we are and what this covers
PeakPulse Labs ("we", "us") operates this site and sells laboratory reference materials through it. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why, who it is shared with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. It covers this website and the order, support and compliance correspondence connected to it.
2. Information you give us
- Order information — name, institution, billing and shipping address, email address, telephone number, and the contents of your order.
- Eligibility confirmations — the record that you confirmed you are 21 or over and acquiring material for in-vitro research, including when that confirmation was given.
- Correspondence — the content of emails and form submissions you send us, including any lot numbers, photographs or documents you attach to a claim.
- Institutional purchasing information — purchase order numbers, tax status documentation and, where net terms are requested, credit reference information.
3. Information collected automatically
When you browse the site we collect standard technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and timestamps. This is used to keep the site working, to detect fraud and abuse, and to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell this data.
4. Payment information
We do not receive or store full card numbers. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider that receives your card details directly. We receive only the transaction result, the card brand, the last four digits and the billing address needed to match the payment to your order.
5. Why we use your information
- To take, fill, ship and invoice your order, and to provide tracking.
- To answer support, documentation and compliance enquiries.
- To keep the records the law requires of a supplier of research chemicals, including the eligibility confirmations attached to each order.
- To detect and prevent fraud, diversion and attempts to obtain material for prohibited uses.
- To send order-related email. Marketing email is sent only if you asked for it, and every marketing message carries a one-click unsubscribe.
6. Who your information is shared with
We share the minimum necessary with: our payment processor; the carriers who deliver your order; our ecommerce and email platform providers; our accountants and, where necessary, our lawyers. We disclose information to a government authority where we are legally required to, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent material being diverted to human use. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
7. Cookies
The site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for browsing and checkout, and analytics cookies that measure aggregate traffic. You can block cookies in your browser; strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without breaking checkout.
8. How long we keep information
Order records, eligibility confirmations and compliance correspondence are retained for seven years, because they are the records that evidence how and to whom material was supplied. Support correspondence unrelated to an order is retained for two years. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a portable copy, to opt out of sale or sharing — which we do not do — and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended; residents of the UK, EU and other jurisdictions with equivalent laws have them under those laws.
To exercise any right, email compliance@peakpulselabs.com. We respond within 45 days and may need to verify your identity first. Note that we cannot delete records we are required to retain to evidence a completed sale of a research chemical; where that applies we will tell you which records are being retained and why.
10. Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 21 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. Accounts found to belong to a person under 21 are closed and the associated orders cancelled.
11. Security
The site is served over TLS. Access to order and correspondence records is restricted to personnel who need it. No transmission or storage system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information we will notify you and any regulator as required by law.
12. International transfers
We operate from the United States and our service providers may process information there. If you order from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
13. Changes
If this notice changes materially we will post the revised version here with a new date, and where the change affects how we use information already collected we will say so at the top of the page.
