PeakPulse Labs does not run its own analytical laboratory, and that is deliberate. A supplier that tests its own material and grades its own result is not offering verification, it is offering an opinion. Every batch we sell is measured by an independent laboratory that has no stake in whether the lot passes.

Synthesis and identity confirmation
Material is produced by solid-phase synthesis, cleaved, precipitated and purified by preparative reverse-phase chromatography. Before anything is filled, the crude and purified fractions are checked by mass spectrometry against the theoretical monoisotopic mass for the sequence or molecule ordered. A mass that does not match ends the batch at this gate.

Independent purity determination
A sample is shipped to a third-party laboratory for reverse-phase HPLC. The wavelength, column dimensions and gradient are recorded on the certificate so the number can be interpreted rather than simply believed. Our release specification is ≥99.0% area purity. We publish the figure the laboratory returns, not a rounded marketing number.

Water, solvent and fill verification
Water content is measured by Karl Fischer titration, because a lyophilized cake that has taken up moisture will read light on mass and short on stability. Residual synthesis solvents are screened by headspace GC. Net fill mass is confirmed gravimetrically against the stated label mass with a ±3% window.

Certificate published, then release
The signed analytical record is published to this site under its lot number before the lot is made available for sale, so the first person to read it is a customer deciding whether to buy — not a customer who already has. Certificates stay online after a lot sells out.

Janoshik Analytical
Independent contract laboratory used for HPLC purity and LC-MS identity on the polypeptide and nucleotide lines. Reports are issued directly by the laboratory under its own reference number.

Colmaric Analyticals
Second independent laboratory, used both for primary testing and for cross-checks when a result sits near the release limit. Running two laboratories keeps a single instrument or a single analyst from becoming the only source of truth.

Re-test on request
If a lot matters enough to your work that you want it re-tested, we will send a sealed vial from the same lot to the laboratory of your choice at cost. Ask on the contact page.

Why we ship at ambient temperature
A properly lyophilized peptide sealed under inert headspace with desiccant is stable in dry transit. Cold packs in a courier network spend most of their life somewhere between frozen and warm, and a half-thawed gel pack that sweats inside the box does more harm to a lyophilized cake than ambient shipping does. We seal, desiccate and dispatch fast instead.
What that means in practice: order today, sealed and out the door within 24 hours, tracked the whole way.
Storage once it arrives
Sealed vials: 2–8 °C for working stock, −20 °C for long-term storage. Keep sealed and out of light and moisture until use. Let a cold vial reach room temperature before opening so condensation does not settle on the cake.
